Hello,
Central venous catheters are commonly used in cancer patients. Catheter-related thrombosis is a major complication of central venous catheters. Despite the common occurrence, evidence is lacking on the optimal dose and duration of anticoagulation, especially after the initial 3 months of anticoagulation treatment. In this survey, we would like to find out the current practice patterns. The data collected here will help to design a future study for this common and important problem.
You are being asked to participate in the survey because you are a practicing physician expert in the management of patients with cancer and catheter-related thrombosis. It will take you approximately (or less than) 5 minutes to complete this survey and we hope that you will be willing to answer all questions. The survey is anonymous, and all data will be analyzed in aggregate form and cannot be traced back to individual participants.
